Black Tea
Black plantation tea is picked, oxidized and dried without added aroma. The large differences in taste found in plantation tea are therefore due to soil conditions, climate and the processing of the picked leaves. Black tea is actually green tea that has gone through an oxidation process, which gives the leaves their black colour. The dark color of both the leaves and the finished tea is thus a clear characteristic.
