A very fine and delicate tea with a scent and taste of jasmine flowers. The tea is based on a mild Chinese tea. The tea leaves are harvested in the early spring and stored until late in the summer when the fresh jasmine flowers blossom. The jasmine flowers are picked early in the day when the buds are still not quite open. Afterwards, the flowers are stored in a cool place until being added to the tea. During the night, the flowers open and transfer their exquisite aroma to the tea. It takes more than four hours for the tea to absorb the flavour and the aroma of the flowers. The process is repeated up to seven times in order to achieve the desired high quality.
China Jasmin is great with Asian food. A mild, slightly sweet cup of tea with a long aftertaste. You can make several infusions on the same leaves and bring out different taste sensations each time.
Taste: Mild and soft jasmine aroma.
