A very different tea! Everything has been done to produce a tea that really stands out. The thickest leaves of the tea bush have been used for this tea. They have been smoked on charcoal, which gives this tea its particular character.
If you don't already know this tea, we recommend that you start out by using a small dosage as the tea really is different from other teas. Small dosages of Lapsang Souchong is used in our other teas such as Gentleman Blend and Earl Grey Souchong, and you may yourself experiment with adding pure Lapsang Souchong to teas from Ceylon and/or India in the amount you prefer.
Taste/scent: Significant and intensily smoked.
