Cast iron teapot, 0,8 L

67,10 EUR

In the earlier days, the Japanese used cast-iron pots only to boil water because they could endure being placed on open fire. Today, the pots are glazed on the inside, så they can be used for making tea without becoming rusty.

This type of tea pot is generally small because in Asia, tea leaves are used several times and people make tea more often than we do in Denmark. The teapots are available in different designs, colours and sizes. The leaves are poured directly into the pot. Then you add water and let the tea steep. When the tea is ready, you pour all the tea into cups and pour new water over the same leaves. A tea strainer is included with all our teapots, which means that you can also make tea the usual way.
