Birkerød Pottery was founded in 1976. They exclusively produce handmade earthenware and stoneware.
The ceramics are first fired at 1000 degrees in a gas kiln. They are then decorated and glazed and finally fired a second time at 1280 degrees. Firing at this high temperature ensures that the stoneware achieves a very hard surface and thus cannot absorb water.
Heat the pot with boiling water before use for the optimal pot of tea.
Materials: Stoneware
All stoneware is ovenproof and machine washable.
